Oh the water lily, so feminine, graceful and with such beauty, the pond is their stage and we are the audience in awe of their stunning performance. They do nothing but pose, while being surrounded by the many lily pad admirers who protect their beauty, but oh what a pose it is with a tilt to the right or a tilt to the left, they allow you just enough ability to glimpse the centre of their existence and leave you in awe that something so spectacular could come from something so ordinary. They are astounding.

They are Little Ballerinas in the water to me with their colourful and classical tutus and their beautiful faces stretched far towards the sun dancing forever in our memories on their stage of water.
