SUMMER'S LAST HURRAH

With one more burst of colour, Summer has given it's final hurrah and left us to enter into another season of our lives. What will it bring us all... Only the fates know for sure, but I know, that Summer left a beautiful, lasting imprint on my heart and a feast of colour for my soul.

What did Summer leave you with?

Here's to "FALL"ing into love with Autumn.
Happy Sunday to You all!

  1. Hi,
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. Your comment you left on my blog was the greatest gift you could give me, as I have been reading your blog ever since, and you brighten my life so much. I read your comment to cheri quite contrary and while I have pain no where to the degree you do, I still understand pain and how it affects living. The worse pain I have lived with most of my life (63 yrs) is headaches, and I have known what it is like to cry for hours because of the pain or never get enough sleep because once I lay down the pain is worse. I am extremely lucky though as I have learned how to manage my pain quite well. I finally found a chiropractor who works wonders with me, and I have worked very hard on relaxing techniques, aquiring a positive attitude and keeping it, and filling my world with anything I sit or lie on that loves my body ha ha, and try to stay as healthy and active as I can. I wish you only the best in your life and keep up the great sense of humor. Yvonne

  5. Although I refuse to call the game before it's time, and we still have until the 21st when Summer is officially over and Fall has started..I for one am a huge fan of Fall..so when it rolls in, I don't regret anything, nor mourn summer...and this particular summer has been the best one I've had in about 3 years...such beautiful opportunities, experiences and the opportunity to be present..in every one of those moments. You of all people know how much I've moved through this summer so thank you for being a part of it...

  7. First of all I really really really enjoy your photos. Being a wanna be amateur photographer myself, I like to see what other subjects people photographs, mine are always sunrises ans sunsets.

I'm with Cinderita as far as not calling summer over yet. Thankfully, out here summer does last a little longer, which is good, because I pretty much detest all other seasons except maybe Spring, lats spring that is. Maybe it's because I was born during Summer, but for my money, I would move to Hawaii if I could.
Not that I don't like snow, I like to ski etc. but the thought of living in a cold weather climate makes me shiver (sorry, couldn't resist...)

This summer wasn't all that different from previous ones for me. I went to the beach a lot and did all those summer things that make me feel alive. Now that Fall looms on the horizon, I start to dwindle, my crankiness level goes up considerably and I start to mark the days on the calendar until next June (or maybe that's because when school's out...). Thankfully, at least this year I'll my blogging buddies to keep up my spirits until the next blessed Summer season.....:-)

  8. Thank you for visiting my blog yesterday and for leaving such a lovely comment. It's really nice to meet you.

Your photos are stunningly beautiful. You definitely have a talent with the camera.

What summer has left me with is the very firm assurance that I wish I had never moved away from Florida earlier this decade. Every year, the cool weather gets harder and harder for me to handle, and I've finally come to the place of realizing I am totally a warm-weather kind of gal. For many years, I was made to feel inferior because I don't like cold, but now, I know I'm not a second-class citizen just because I like hot. It's just a preference issue...and I can't wait to move back to my beloved South.

    Blessings to you,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

Travelling to countries during their winter and our summer was not one of my better ideas! English summer's are to short too...that is why I love the sunshine that I find in your blog :)

Thanks so much for your wonderful comments...love hearing from you, everytime!
