Giving back with a Christmas Party, just for you here on my little old blog!!!

Tis the season to give back, wouldn't you agree?

And you know, it's my turn to give something back to bloggy land. It's been awhile.  Last year, I featured 4 to 5 blogs every Monday for three months, and then in January, a wildly enthusiastic, unbelievably successful blog party happened right here on my little ole blog.  I did a crazy thing then, I just handed over the keys to my digs for 48 hours and said to my fellow bloggers to just run with it and have fun!  And they did!!!

They met new people, discovered new blogs, found new interests and new things to rev up their mojos and keep the excitement ALIVE within blogland!

I don't know about you, but my blogging interest has waned a tad and I would sure love someone (like you), too light a great big old fire under my rather large ass and get me all worked up!

So, here I go again, handing the keys over to you!!!

And you know what? The Rules are totally simple:

For the next 48 to 72 hours, I am handing over the keys to my digs! Yup, that's right! This party is for EVERYONE. And I mean everyone. From beginner bloggers to seasoned ones, from those without followers to those with thousands. Everyone is invited whether you follow my blog or not, take this opportunity to PIMP YOURSELVES OUT!!!!

Here's the house rules:
  • Leave a comment to this post with a small description of what your blog is about along with your blog address;
  • Be kind and come back periodically and check out other blogs and their addresses: and
  • Meet and greet and support each other.
And when you're said and done, make sure you do your own dirty dishes, turn off the lights and lock the doors!  What?  I'm not your mother for gawdsakes! Pick up after yourselves! :)

And just so you know, I so can't wait to come and meet you all too!

Oh, and by the way, stay out of my underwear drawer while you are here! I don't want to hear about any of you running thru my place with my delicates on your heads!

And for gawd sakes, don't be shy!  Now go... meet.... mingle.... be merry! Well not too merry. Oh what the hell, be SUPER MERRY!

  1. I think I might be first AG. But it's a great idea. My blog is about me, stories from my crazy days, my married days, my grandma days, and anything in between. They don't call me Bouncin' Barb for nothing! Hope to meet some new people.

  2. The clue to what my blog is about is in the title really. It is about me, things I'm interested in, things that happen to me.
I've never been to a blog party before :)

  5. Nothing like a Blog Party to get this season off to a great start!

    Hi Everyone!

I’m the ruler of my own little galaxy called PEARSON REPORT where I happily share things like how I got my address in this comment and lots of third person ramblings!

    Okay...I’m off to mingle...

  9. My blog is my living legacy to my two grandsons and grown children. I am open and honest and I write about everything. I want my kids and grandkids to read it someday and go, "WOW! She was really cool!" A granny sitting in a rocking chair and twiddling her thumbs is definitely not me. I am a looking-at-life-with-a-glass-3/4-of-the-way-full type of person and I want my offspring to realize just what an amazing gift Life is.

  10. Hi! My blog basically started as a platform to rant about the differences between the east and west coast and while I still do that, it's become more of a social commentary about various subjects. There are so many good humorous and entertaining blogs out in blog land I thought it needed my dry humorless writing style. No? Well, maybe not. Still, many come by and I hope to see you as well!

  12. i was at average girl's last party and i'm pretty sure i was the one wearing the undies on my head, which clearly ruined it for this party. hard to remember the circumstances which made it seem like a good idea, but i'm pretty sure there was drinking involved.
my blog, um, well, i tell stories and talk about my boobs and other real life things. i'm mom to an aspie child, but she just give me reasons to laugh and see the funny everywhere i look.

  13. i remember your party from last year! it was THE party of all parties! my blog is a bit of a melodramatic, quirky, rollercoaster of emotions type of blog. i write about mny dating life (or lack thereof), single life after forty for women, throw in some of my poetry and short stories and occasionally, rants and raves. hopefully, some of you will drop by and say hello.

  19. Greetings to all and happy holidays! I'm Galen Pearl (well, actually that's my pen name -- my kids don't want me to use my real name). Anyway, Galen Pearl is the name I always wanted to name one of my daughters, but it never fit any of them (much to their relief), so I took it for myself. I live in the US, in Oregon, but I grew up in the South, and I'll always be a Southern girl who loves BBQ and thunder storms. But now Oregon is home and I love it here and hope to never move again.

I love being part of an international blog community. I spent seven years living in other countries (Thailand, Ivory Coast, and France) and traveled a lot, so when I moved here I missed being part of an international community. I started blogging and viola!

My blog is 10 Steps to Finding Your Happy Place (and Staying There). The theme of the blog is developing habits to grow a joyful spirit. Beginning in January of this year, I focused on one step a month, in case you want to go back and see posts on a particular step. But since I ran out of steps at the end of October, I've been posting about random things as spirit moves me.

So fun to meet y'all. Wishing you the very best for the rest of 2011 and the new year.

  25. I'm The Frisky Virgin, and, yes, I'm a virgin...who is also 33. I can promise you the dating scene is just as shocking. Ever told your overly-sex-charged date you're a virgin? Good times. Or how about finding yourself on a date with a past-life werewolf? Yeah.

When taking a break from Hellmouth dating, I'm sharing stories about my parents--two of the most adorably hilarious people on the planet. My night-blind, says-it-like-it-is mom and laid back Texan dad make for some memorable moments.

You may have to endure my crazy sports-watching rituals from time to time, though.

I also tackle virgin stereotypes and slay them in manner of Buffy. So come on by if you get a chance and take a peek into the real life of a not-so-stereotypical virgin. I look forward to meeting you!

  26. there's a STRIPPER POLE??!! for SHAME! i'm leaving.
aw, who am i kidding, move over, let me show you some tricks! first rule of working the pole is always take your long sexy gloves off first. it won't be sexy if you go for a spin & land straight on your tookus in your undies in a heap.

  28. Hmmm... I almost missed the party... Or did I just get here on time to help cleaning up after the festivities? :D

My name is Beliza. I started my blog just as a way of putting some order in my thoughts, to be honest. So it's a bit random and I don't post on a very regular basis.

I really enjoy reading other blogger's posts and comments. There's such a wealth of different and lovely people out there! :)

Looking forward to meeting more of you!
