OH GO FLY A KITE......

Today myself and my lovely cohart, my mother, stumbled across the International Kite Festival and was it ever spectacular.  There is just something about viewing a kite in the air.  Hypnotic, compelling and fascinating, I must say that I stood there glazed over watching their slow methodical dance-like movements gracefully floating in the cerulean blue sky with what seemed like no effort at all. Of course, I had conveniently blanked out the fact that there were numerous people standing in the fields controlling every single movement of every single kite. But what the heck, by now you know I am a hopeless romantic and to me, they were colourful pieces of art in motion.

I hope this weekend brings you much
deserved fun in the sun!

I am joining Summer Sundays
and if you wish to see some
spectacular photos by others, please

Thank you to thetablescaper.blogspot.com
