TWAS A VERY GOOD DAY!

Waking up this morning, the sky was in the midst of a torrential downpour.  Everything was wet and shiny and I couldn't stop this overwhelming feeling that today was going to be a very good day.

Myself and my better half had taken today off so that I could attend my doctor's office in another city about an hour away.  Oh yes, I know what you are thinking, and yes, there are multitudes of very capable physicians within my home town.  But my doctor and I go way back to my single early rockin' out 20's and I just couldn't part with her when I moved the hour drive away.

And I so love the drive down to see her, because I get to see this:

And I also get to see this:

And when I got thru that, I got to see this:

And after my doctor's appointment, I got to see and eat this:

And then on the way home, I got to see this:

And then when I got home, I was greeted by this:

And I saw all of it thru this:

Yup, twas a very good day!

Until Next Time.

  10. The doctor...you should always stay with those that comfort you the most. Fred's a darling, and he has a beautiful mommy. What a tease with the eye...and a very lovely eye indeed. Take care.

  11. Those pics were stunning. Seriously now, how cold is your neck of the woods? How long are summers? I really want to visit Canada now. It's good to hear you in good spirits, I'm sure Fred had a little to do with that, he's sooooo cute!

  25. We drive 45 minutes to a dentist because that office is that good so I totally understand.
But, I never get to see all that on my drive.
Maybe the eagle but that's all. Though I think maybe it's a different one.

  27. where do you live again....in vancouver?? Was that Victoria??? (just throwing that out there)
What a great day.....I'd travel that hour too for the lovely sites and cupcakes, and time to enjoy.
I have an OBGYN I have been seeing (not intimately, tee, hee) for 26 years.
Then I moved here. 16 hours away. I HATE having to go to someone else.
So...I would definatly drive the hour.

  28. So my internet has been out for over a week now but I have hijacked a friends computer so that I can catch up on al the good stuff that has been happening in blog land, so I apologize for my lack of commenting recently. As always, I like your new banner and background, you sure know how to keep thongs fresh.

I read your previous posts about not blogging anymore and everything associated with your decision, but I'm glad things were resolved and that you will continue. I think we all tread the fine line between blogging for ourselves but wanting others to respond and interact with us. There really is no better feeling than writing a post and getting comments, it really is the highlight of my day some times...especially when I share personal things and get supported by my readers.

By the way-please continue writing posts about beans and gas and any other bodily function-it reminds me how normal me and my better half really are because we engage in the same activities and battles. :)
